Steffanie Rivers is an FAA-certified drone pilot, entrepreneur, and media professional with a career rooted in storytelling, technology, and leadership. She holds a Master’s degree in Journalism and Public Affairs and has worked across broadcast, print, and digital platforms — developing a strong foundation in communication, strategy, and visual media.
Her transition into drone technology was driven by a desire to combine innovation with impact. Steffanie became one of the first Black women in Texas to register a commercial drone technology company, building TCB Drones as both a professional service provider and a platform for education and opportunity.
Today, she leads multiple ventures focused on commercial drone operations, professional training, equipment access, and workforce development. Her work spans industry education, community outreach, media projects, and speaking engagements — all centered on expanding access to emerging technology careers and building sustainable pathways into the drone industry.
